Though timing is of concern, you will usually meet your baggage when you arrive to pick it up.

If you need unaccompanied baggage services, you will want to find a company that provides international options, so no matter where you travel, you can use the same services. It is also important to ensure that the company will handle customs formalities. Though there will be certain restrictions, even with these companies, you will be able to ship almost anything you need.
Restricted items can include sports equipment, musical instruments, guns and anything explosive, including dynamite and fireworks. Other such items can include fuels, lighter fluid, lighters, chlorine, fire extinguishers, spray paint and aerosol cans, other than personal care items.
